Supreme Leader Urges Vigilance Against Enemy Plots

In a meeting with government officials and ambassadors of Islamic countries in Tehran, "The main issue of the world of Islam is the issue of holy Quds and oppressed Palestine, which has been highlighted thanks to Islamic Awakening. And all Muslim nations and governments and all outstanding political and cultural personalities should be cautious against the dangerous plot that has been hatched to hide the main issue of Muslims and to create illusions through fomenting discord in the Islamic Ummah."

Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Muslim nations and governments have been suffering from lack of vigilance for many years. He referred to the domination of the hegemons over the destiny of Muslim nations and the establishment of the Zionist regime in the heart of the world of Islam, further adding: "Thanks to Islamic Awakening and the important events that have taken place in the region, today this lack of vigilance is disappearing and it is necessary to appreciate this."

His Eminence stressed that the issue of Palestine and Quds are at the heart of current regional developments and reiterated: "This central issue should not be sidelined or consigned to oblivion because many of the problems of the world of Islam are due to the existence of the fake Zionist regime."

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "Thanks to Islamic Awakening, the regional nations managed to declare their positions on this issue in this year's Quds Day rallies."

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the enemies have hatched a complex plot to hide the main issue of Muslims and reiterated: "Today the arrogant powers have employed the old method of ‘divide and rule' once again. Therefore, Islamic governments and nations - in particular, outstanding political and cultural personalities and religious intellectuals and scholars - should explain the existing realities to Muslims."

His Eminence described Zionism as a danger for all humanity and added: "While the enemy is trying to foment discord among Muslims by magnifying natural ethnic, racial and sectarian differences and to sound false alarms by creating illusions, the Islamic Ummah should focus its efforts on practicing Islam, preserving and strengthening unity and brotherhood, and acting against the will of the big powers, particularly America."

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that discord among Muslim nations is like deadly poison and stressed: "It is necessary to see where the enemy of Islam and Muslims is because the camp of the enemy is the camp of falsehood and the camp that opposes his camp is the camp of truth. This is the standard."
