In the Name of Allah the most Beneficent the most Merciful
On the Anniversary of Election of the Last Allah’s prophet, Mohammad (P.B.U.H) and the ascension of prophet and as per invitation of scientific congress of UAE scholars, supreme leader’s representative traveled to Abu Dhabi to participate in the meeting.
There were attendances from Sunni brother’s scholars and countries ambassadors and social figures. First, Dr. Keisi, had his speech on Prophet’s ascension. After Maqrib prayer, Dubai’s Islamic leader explained about the ascension of prophet. After that supreme leader’s representative congratulated the occasion and pointed out to two important points.
He noted that the remembering of the ascension of our prophet; memorize us about the first Qibla of Muslims which was the Mosque of Aqsa. “All we know that for fifteen years Muslims were praying toward the Aqsa and after revelation came to the prophet, the qibla changed to Mecca and now it is not permitted to Muslims to pray toward Aqsa” He pointed. He also added that this historical event raises the question in our mind “why we should pray to specific direction?”even the Qur’an says” And to Allâh belong the east and the west, so wherever you turn yourselves or your faces there is the Face of Allâh (and He is High above, over His Throne). He added “It seems that pointing to Aqsa or later change to Ka’ba (Mecca) is to note the muslims about their unity and Qibla is symbol of that. In reality, it seems that Allah wants us to remember 5 times in a day that we are a unique nation and __having a unit goal, unique God, Unique Qibla, Unique holy book and unique prophet.”
He continued” the second point that comes to our mind is the regrettable present situation of the Aqsa mosque and what happening through our enemies there and we hope by unity of Muslims this condition changes and Muslims pray Congressional prayer there after overcome and victory.”
After him, Seyed Ali Al Hashemi, who was the host of the meeting and legal and religious advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, thanked those had their speech and emphasized the Islamic brotherhood and had his speech on lessons of the ascension.
